TA9 Titanium
TA9 titanium alloy is an improved alloy based on commercially pure titanium with added palladium, offering significant advantages in corrosion resistance and overall performance. It is widely used in chemical equipment, marine engineering, and medical fields. TA9 can withstand strong corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and seawater electrochemical corrosion, and has good biocompatibility, making it suitable for manufacturing reactors, pipelines, heat exchangers, seawater piping systems, and small medical implants.

Feature
The mechanical properties of TA9 titanium alloy are comparable to those of medium-strength industrial pure titanium, with a minimum tensile strength of approximately 485 MPa (70,300 psi) and a minimum yield strength of about 345 MPa (50,000 psi). It combines excellent corrosion resistance with good ductility (20-25% elongation at break), facilitating processing such as rolling, forging, bending, and welding. With a broad operating temperature range, it maintains stable performance up to 316°C (600°F), making it suitable for moderate-temperature environments. It also exhibits outstanding low-temperature toughness for cryogenic applications, though its core advantage remains its exceptional corrosion resistance.
