TA10 Titanium
TA10 titanium alloy is an α-type titanium alloy enhanced with palladium, offering excellent corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties. It maintains stability under high-temperature, high-pressure, and strong acid environments, combining high strength with good ductility. Its biocompatibility also allows applications in medical devices. Widely used in chemical, marine, energy, and medical fields, TA10 titanium alloy is an ideal structural material for harsh environments, meeting diverse demands for long-term service.

Feature
TA10's composition is optimized for corrosion resistance and mechanical stability. Comprising at least 90% titanium, it features key alloying elements: 0.2-0.4% molybdenum and 0.6-0.9% nickel. This combination enhances passivation in reducing environments, especially in concentrated hydrochloric acid.
TA10 exhibits mechanical properties comparable to medium-strength titanium alloys. It has a minimum tensile strength of approximately 485 MPa (70,300 psi) and a minimum yield strength of 345 MPa (50,000 psi). Despite its focus on corrosion resistance, it retains good ductility with an elongation at break of 20-25%, enabling fabrication via rolling, forging, bending, and welding. The alloy maintains structural stability at service temperatures up to 316°C (600°F) and demonstrates excellent low-temperature toughness, suitable for cryogenic applications, though its primary advantage lies in corrosion performance rather than extreme temperature resistance.
