Inconel 686 Nickel Alloy
Inconel 686 (UNS N06686) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten superalloy. It achieves extremely strong corrosion resistance through high molybdenum (15-17%) and tungsten (3-4.4%) content, and performs exceptionally well in strong reducing acids such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, as well as mixed acids. It has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion and is suitable for use in chemical, marine and pollution control equipment.
