Feature
S32760 is a super duplex stainless steel with a high-performance composition: 24-26% Cr for corrosion resistance, 6-8% Ni for austenitic stability, 3-4% Mo for pitting/crevice resistance, and 0.5-1.0% Cu for sulfuric acid resistance. Nitrogen (0.2-0.3%) enhances strength, while low C, Mn, Si, P, and S levels prevent intermetallic formation. Mechanically, it offers high tensile (≥750 MPa) and yield (≥500 MPa) strength, 25% elongation, and good fatigue resistance, even at -40°C. Its PREN (40-45) ensures exceptional chloride resistance, while Cu improves reducing acid performance. It resists chloride-induced SCC, SSC, and HIC, making it ideal for harsh environments like seawater, chemical processing, and sour gas applications.
