304L Stainless Steel
304L is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel known for its excellent corrosion resistance, good machinability, and weldability. With a carbon content below 0.03%, it significantly reduces the risk of sensitization and intergranular corrosion, making it particularly suitable for applications where post-weld heat treatment is not feasible.

Feature
This material exhibits stable performance in both oxidizing and weakly reducing media, demonstrating resistance to nitric acid, organic acids, and alkaline solutions, along with moderate chloride stress corrosion resistance at room temperature.
304L offers high ductility and toughness (elongation ≥40%), can be strengthened by cold working, and is non-magnetic in the annealed state (may develop slight magnetism after cold deformation). It has a broad operating temperature range (-196°C to 800°C), making it versatile for various industrial applications.
Applications
Welded Structures: Chemical pipelines, storage tanks, etc., requiring no post-weld heat treatment to prevent intergranular corrosion.
Corrosion-Resistant Equipment: For nitric acid, organic acids, and similar media, such as pharmaceutical reactors and pickling equipment.
High-Temperature Environments: Heat exchangers, boiler components, etc., suitable for long-term use at 425–860°C.
Demanding Fields: Auxiliary nuclear industry equipment and secondary marine engineering structures.
